Dude...It's Snowing in Alabama!

Yeah...you heard me...it's snowing! It hardly ever snows here. It is so beautiful! Jerry Tracey is saying that we may have about 3 inches. It's sticking a good bit too. I would love to have a picture to post with this blog but it's just too cold for pregnant 'ole me to be going outside with the camera. From what I hear it's far enough south for Mom and Eddie to be enjoying some snow as well. Mom told me on the phone yesterday evening that I didn't need to go into labor today lol! I told Shawn that he needed to wait a day if he was ready...so I did my best :)

If, when Mo gets home at 2pm, it's not still like a blizzard outside we are going to go to Dad and Karen's new house since they are moved in now. Dad set up his pool table so we are going to play a few games and go out to eat some Mexican food for dinner.

Every time I think of snow I think of mine and Mo's favorite comic strip Calvin and Hobbes...so enjoy my little comic strip picture since I couldn't get you the real thing (you may have to click on it to read it)!

  1. Yep, it's snowing even down here. Accumulation of about 1 inch, but it's not sticking. I am pretty much staying in. I don't even think I'll chance going out getting a picture either, and I'm NOT pregnant. The wind is howling something fierce. It's snuggle under the "kivers" weather to me an that is what I am going to do.

I am going to make me some hot chocolate and popcorn, snuggle under the "kivers" and read a good book. MMMMMMMMM nothing better.

  3. I'd like to have you sweet home Alabama ladies up here in Edmonton for a few days/weeks/months of winter. You wouldn't think the snow was so pretty then. We live with the stuff from October to March, and life just goes on in spite of it.

  4. I'm just getting caught up on reading. We had a good bit of snow here in Dadeville, but I think y'all probably got a better covering in B'ham! A friend of mine sent a picture to me and it looked like they had a good bit more. (There just off 280 in the Inverness area.)

    Congrats on the official marriage!

Can't wait to see the news that Baby Shawn has made his arrival!!!!
